Every year the Danish Association for Anaesthesiology and Intensive Medicine (DASAIM) arranges a crossprofessional symposium with anaesthesiologists, obstetricians and midwives in the city of Roskilde. This year, ExAC CEO Grethe Heitmann was invited to talk about external aortic compression and obstetric anaesthesia in low income countries. She also shared how a visit in Malawi in 2018 made her found ExAC in order to disseminate knowledge about external aortic compression.
