During the annual Autumn meeting of the Norwegian Society of Gynecology and Obstetrics, participants had the opportunity to explore how the ExAC Trainer effectively contributes to reducing postpartum hemorrhage.

Maarten Glas from Hammerfest Hospital in Northern Norway has extensive experience in teaching obstetric emergency medicine in the Netherlands and Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO) through Doctors Without Borders. Over the past 30 years, he has regularly performed aortic compression in cases of postpartum hemorrhage. Last week, he was met with great interest when he demonstrated the ExAC Trainer at the national Autumn Meeting of the Norwegian Society of Gynecology and Obstetrics.
Glas emphasizes the importance of giving healthcare personnel the opportunity to regularly practice external aortic compression using the ExAC Trainer—especially since this procedure is now included in both national and international guidelines.
We are truly honored to demonstrate the ExAC Trainer and deeply appreciate Maarten’s dedication to ensuring safer childbirth!
