In September 2020 ExAC provided training in prehospital management of PPH as a part of a research project conducted by Østfold University College. All participants received material for self study, and half of the participants were offered training on uterine massage and external aortic compression. For the majority, this was the first time to recognize an atonic uterus and perform ExAC. The result was published in BMC Emergency Medicine 2021.
