On February 8th, Grethe Heitmann was invited to teach at the advanced educational programme in obstetric anaesthesia run by the Scandinavian Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine (SSAI).
The course is a 2-year programme which gathers anesthesiologists from Scandinavia including Iceland and Finland. Grethe Heitmann held lectures about external aortic compression, obstetric anesthesiology in low-income countries and shared about our innovation experiences. At the workshop, the participants practiced external aortic compression using the ExAC Trainer.
We feel honored to be invited to share our vision with our Nordic colleagues and once again see the excitement when health professionals learn how external aortic compression can reduce PPH!
